We lose clarity around the vision we’re working toward, or why we are doing the work we are doing. We start noticing things happening around us, sometimes to people we are close to, that spark fear or weaken our faith, and we wonder if they’re a sign that we are somehow on the wrong path.
It’s at those times and in those moments that the only way to know our True Path is to reconnect. To sit still, feel the beating of our heart, and connect with that inner feeling of being truly passionate about our vision, our mission, our True Purpose.
Because until we are able to do this, we simply cannot lead others.
Why? Think of your followers. Now think of yourself as a follower. Could you follow someone who is clearly disconnected from their own path? You might have a corporate title that gives you the ability to tell someone to do something and know it will get done, but we all know that’s not leadership.
Leadership involves a genuine connection between the leader and follower. To create this connection, one must first be connected to themselves.
Because just as you can’t love another person until you can truly love yourself, you cannot commit to lead another person until you are able to be the leader of your own path. Confident, unwavering, passionate about your direction and the beauty of the journey.
The beauty of living a free life is that we have the power to live the journey we are meant to live. We are empowered to choose the path that is absolutely our own True Path. We can give ourselves permission to be insanely happy on this path, passionate about how we are impacting the world with each step. And we can choose to turn our inner light to full-wattage, understanding that we can change the energy of the entire planet this way, one by one.
And then we can really lead…
But it all starts with reconnecting with our True Selves in order to harness this power and lead in the way we are truly meant to lead.
Are you fully connected?
